The Paid Media Manager is responsible for setting strategy, launching, and optimizing paid media campaigns. The right candidate has experience in leading a team of Paid Media Specialist.  The Paid Media Manager can quickly understand and support initiatives that will contribute to the goals and success of client campaigns. This position will report to the Director of Paid Media and will supervise a team of direct reports.

Key Functional Areas of Responsibility
  • Manage a team of specialist to set goals and review performance
  • Manage a Paid Media Team with the ability to delegate assignments and ensure Quality Control.
  • Experience in managing/optimizing Paid Search, Shopping, Display, Retargeting, Native, Social, etc.
  • Use bid management platforms, such as DoubleClick Search to optimize campaign bids across multiple platforms.
  • Perform daily account management and of pay per click accounts on Google AdWords, Yahoo, Bing and other search platforms for a variety of clients.
  • Communicate SEO/SEM results to client weekly based on target KPI’s.
  • Maintenance and monitoring of keyword bids, account daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score and other important account metrics.
  • Manage and maintain updates for large keyword lists.
  • Provide creative copy suggestions and graphical ad templates.
  • Manage Display network placement lists on AdWords and through other contextual advertising platforms.
  • Generate weekly and monthly client reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid search initiatives.
  • Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance client goals.
  • Manage paid search budgets for multiple clients totaling $1M+.

Professional Skills & Qualifications
  • 7 years + of experience in Paid Search and Managing a Team with Direct Reports.
  • Agency experience managing multiple specialist and multiple clients
  • Experience in Omni channel strategy and management.
  • Ecommerce Experience is a PLUS.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools.
  • Experience working with popular PPC ad platforms (AdWords, Yahoo, Bing).
  • AdWords / Bing certification a plus.
  • BS/BA degree preferred.
